Now, you might be scratching your head, wondering, “What on earth is Thalassa?” Thalassa, or Thalassotherapy, harnesses the healing powers of seawater. The word itself comes from the Greek ‘thalassa’ meaning sea and ‘therapeia’ meaning healing.
It’s an age-old practice that believes in the sea’s restorative properties. We’re talking about the mineral-rich water, the invigorating sea air, the calming mud, and even the algae – they all play a part in helping to rejuvenate the body and calm the mind.
