I want to be transparent and let you know that I am an affiliate for eRank. But, I believe whole-heartedly that it helped me transform my shop and see traction immediately after using it to find low competition keywords.

It can be overwhelming to learn about print-on-demand, SEO tools, and design tools. There is so much noise and data out there that it can be confusing. First, you’re confused about which tool to use.
Then, once you use the tool, the data itself is completely overwhelming. You don’t know where to start, or how to use it effectively so that you see results in your shop!

Then, another great thing about eRank is that in addition to giving you data about the word you typed into the search bar, it will also give you a huge list of similar keywords.
As a research enthusiast, I love this feature because you can click on those words and look at the lists that are generated for another keyword. This is one of the ways that I find keywords with great data. Another way is using ChatGPT and eRank’s Bulk Keyword Tool.

Bulk Keyword Tool
eRank’s Bulk Keyword Tool allows you to search 20 keywords at once. It is pretty amazing. I ask ChatGPT to give me a list of keywords in [whatever] niche, and then copy and paste those into the bulk keyword tool.
It speeds up the process and gives you a starting point for your research. Chat GPT helps you brainstorm and save time thinking of keywords from scratch. AI is your friend!
Trends
Staying ahead of trends can give you an edge. eRank’s trend tracking tool Monthly Trends shows you what Etsy shoppers searched for the month prior. You can even go back month by month for over a year to see what was trending last year.
I’ve used Monthly Trends to find keywords or design inspiration. It is an effective tool. You can even filter it by category so that you can narrow the monthly trend down by your specific product.

Canva: Canva is the most amazing tool. It is user friendly, and always improving! The tools that Canva has have evolved so much since I first started using it in 2022–for the better. I use it almost everyday. I use it to create designs, to edit AI designs, and to create product mockups.
Midjourney: Midjourney is an AI image tool that blows my mind every time I use it. It takes some time to get the prompts down. Once you play with it, you will get better at creating images and art to include on your print on demand products.
E-Hunt: E-Hunt is fantastic for competitor research and some light keyword research. My favorite aspect of E-Hunt is the Chrome extension that allows you to see the sales amount for an individual item on Etsy. Check out this article to see an example.
eRank: eRank is an SEO data tool that also allows you to search the competition and will also give you key words for your Etsy listing. It is also a low cost tool that will help you find low competition and highly searched niches.
Printify: Printify is a print-on-demand (POD) service that allows individuals and businesses to create and sell custom-designed products without needing to manage inventory or handle fulfillment.
