Bali, otherwise known as the ‘Island of the Gods’ is home to various wellness retreats and spas, many of which offer luxurious flower baths – which Bali is famous for!

As part of my job, I had the privilege of traveling all over the world. Even traveling for pleasure, as I’ve done for the last 15 years, I always added in a luxury experience, or a luxury stay.

We deserve it, so why not? I loved my time in Indonesia. I can’t wait to go back, this time with my entire family.

I will also be taking advantage of the most instagrammable and unforgettable experiences Bali has to offer, which is flower baths! With a glass of wine in hand, I’m preparing for my next trip.

So, if you’re looking for the best flower baths in Bali, I’ve already done the research for you.

This guide will cover the best flower baths in Bali so you can easily choose the flower petal bath of your dreams while enjoying one of the most beautiful places on earth.

What is a Balinese Flower Bath?

A flower bath or “mandi bunga” in Balinese is a traditional ritual where fresh flowers and essential oils are added to a tub of warm water for a luxurious and relaxing experience.

This ancient practice has been passed down through generations in Bali and is believed to have healing properties for both the body and mind.

A flower bath is part of an ancient balinese healing tradition and is an important part of Balinese culture.

As you’re relaxing in a tub filled with flower petals and fragrant waters, you’ll feel all your troubles melting away.

Not to mention, some spas are set in breathtaking jungle landscapes so you can take in the island’s beauty as you unwind.

As the name suggests, you’ll be bathing in a bath filled with beautiful flowers, often including rose petals, jasmine, and lotus flowers.

The experience is generally different everywhere you go, with some spas also including essential oils, citrus, or coconut milk in the experience.

The flowers used in these baths often have cleansing and revitalizing properties, leaving your body and mind rejuvenated.

Many people also believe that flower baths (known as the ‘Celebration of Flowers’) have spiritual benefits.
